When you make a reservation or order online at The Good Sport, you provide us with some personal information. This is so that the transaction can be completed successfully, and so your time with us can be arranged smoothly and enjoyably. This personal information will include contact details, for example phone, address, or email. In some cases it may also include financial information such as credit card details.

During the process of booking, or at any other time, you may agree to us sending occasional newsletters by email, or through social media. For example, we sometimes send out details of future events or offers that we feel our guests may find interesting.

We do not give, sell or rent this data to other organisations to be used for their own business. We take all necessary steps to protect your privacy; it is a matter that we take great care of. The only exception to this is if we are contacted by the Government's Covid Track and Trace team to assist them with contacting people who have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19.

However, during a booking process your information may also be held by other organisations, for example TripAdvisor or Booking.com. We believe that these organisations have the same high regard for your personal information that we do: however we are not responsible for any of your data which they hold.

Similarly, if you engage with us on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, etc then some of your personal data will be held by those organisations and not by us.

If you have concerns about this we suggest that you contact those organisations directly. They are also required to abide by GDPR regulations.

GDPR also allows you to ask us to delete your data, so long as it is not required on an ongoing basis. In our case that means that we need to retain your information until after any active bookings or reservations are complete. We then undertake to delete it as soon as convenient after that.
